It is proved that a multiset of permissible arcs over a tiling is uniquely determined by its intersection vector under a mild condition. This generalizes a classical result over marked surfaces with triangulations. We apply this result to study $\tau$-tilting theory of gentle algebras and denominator conjecture in cluster algebras. In the case of gentle algebras, it is proved that different $\tau$-rigid $A$-modules over a gentle algebra $A$ have different dimension vectors if...

Cluster algebras were introduced by S. Fomin and A. Zelevinsky in connection with dual canonical bases. To a cluster algebra of simply laced Dynkin type one can associate the cluster category. Any cluster of the cluster algebra corresponds to a tilting object in the cluster category. The cluster tilted algebra is the algebra of endomorphisms of that tilting object. Viewing the cluster tilted algebra as a path algebra of a quiver with relations, we prove in this paper that the...

In this paper the relationship between iterated tilted algebras and cluster-tilted algebras and relation-extensions is studied. In the Dynkin case, it is shown that the relationship is very strong and combinatorial.

We survey some recent constructions of cluster algebra structures on coordinate rings of unipotent subgroups and unipotent cells of Kac-Moody groups. We also review a quantized version of these results.

In \cite{JKS} we gave an (additive) categorification of Grassmannian cluster algebras, using the category $\CM(A)$ of Cohen-Macaulay modules for a certain Gorenstein order $A$. In this paper, using a cluster tilting object in the same category $\CM(A)$, we construct a compatible pair $(B, L)$, which is the data needed to define a quantum cluster algebra. We show that when $(B, L)$ is defined from a cluster tilting object with rank 1 summands, this quantum cluster algebra is (...

We give a brief introduction to (upper) cluster algebras and their quantization using examples. Then we present several important families of bases for these algebras using topological models. We also discuss tropical properties of these bases and their relation to representation theory. This article is an extended version of the talk given at the 19th International Conference on Representations of Algebras (ICRA 2020).

We introduce a new class of algebras, which we call cluster-tilted. They are by definition the endomorphism algebras of tilting objects in a cluster category. We show that their representation theory is very close to the representation theory of hereditary algebras. As an application of this, we prove a generalised version of so-called APR-tilting.

Cluster algebras are commutative rings with a set of distinguished generators having a remarkable combinatorial structure. They were introduced by Fomin and Zelevinsky in 2000 in the context of Lie theory, but have since appeared in many other contexts, from Poisson geometry to triangulations of surfaces and Teichm\"uller theory. In this expository paper we give an introduction to cluster algebras, and illustrate how this framework naturally arises in Teichm\"uller theory. We...

The category of Cohen-Macaulay modules of an algebra $B_{k,n}$ is used [JKS16] to give an additive categorification of the cluster algebra structure on the homogeneous coordinate ring of the Grassmannian of $k$-planes in $n$-space. In this paper, we find canonical Auslander--Reiten sequences and study the Auslander--Reiten translation periodicity for this category. Furthermore, we give an explicit construction of Cohen-Macaulay modules of arbitrary rank. We then use our resul...

The purpose of this paper is to give an explicit formula for the number of non-isomorphic cluster-tilted algebras of type $A_n$, by counting the mutation class of any quiver with underlying graph $A_n$. It will also follow that if $T$ and $T'$ are cluster-tilting objects in a cluster category $\mathcal{C}$, then $\End_{\mathcal{C}}(T)$ is isomorphic to $\End_{\mathcal{C}}(T')$ if and only if $T=\tau^i T'$.
