New HI observations are presented for a complete sample of 109 low luminosity star-forming galaxies taken from the KPNO International Spectroscopic Survey (KISS), the first CCD-based wide-field objective-prism survey for emission-line galaxies. (Abridged) We present near-IR photometry of a selected sample of southern hemisphere E+A galaxies. The sample includes 50 galaxies from nearby and distant clusters as well as E+A galaxies from the field. The photometry includes J, H and Ks apparent magnitudes and colors. An imaging survey of the {\em IRAS} 1-Jy sample of 118 ultraluminous infrared galaxies was conducted at optical (R) and near-infrared (K') wavelengths using the University of Hawaii 2.2m telescope. We present a catalog of extended low-surface-brightness galaxies (LSBGs) identified in the Wide layer of the Hyper Suprime-Cam Subaru Strategic Program (HSC-SSP). Using the first ${\sim}$200 deg$^2$ of the survey, we have uncovered 781 LSBGs, spanning red ($g-i\geq0.64$) and blue ($g-i<0.64$) colors and a wide range of morphologies. We present near-infrared (NIR) spectra, deep J, H and K low-resolution ima ges, and high-resolution images in J and Ks of the low-metallicity blue dwarf gal axy SBS 0335-052. These new NIR data, together with optical and mid-infrared data from the literature, are used to constrain the properties and the star formation history of the galaxy. We present Very Large Array ({\sc vla}) and Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope ({\sc wsrt}) 21-cm H{\sc i} observations of 19 late-type low surface brightness (LSB) galaxies. We present H-band surface photometry of 57 galaxies drawn from the Local Sphere of Influence (LSI) with distances of less than 10 Mpc from the Milky Way. The images with a typical surface brightness limit 4 mag fainter than 2MASS (24.5 mag arcsec^-2 < sb_lim < 26 mag arcsec ^-2) have been obtained with IRIS2 on the 3.9 m Anglo-Australian Telescope. We use very deep near-infrared photometry of the Hubble Deep Field South taken with ISAAC/VLT to identify a population of high redshift galaxies with rest- frame optical colors similar to those of nearby galaxies. The galaxies are chosen by their infrared colors Js-Ks > 2.3, aimed at selecting galaxies with redshifts above 2.
