We attempt to see how closely we can formally obtain the planetary and light path equations of General Relativity by employing certain operations on the familiar Newtonian equation. This article is intended neither as an alternative to nor as a tool for grasping Einstein's General Relativity. Though the exercise is understandable by readers at large, it is especially recommended to the teachers of Relativity for an appreciative understanding of its peculiarity as well as its pedagogical value in the teaching of differential equations.

We explain the solution of the following two problems: obtaining of Kepler's laws from Newton's laws (so called two bodies problem) and obtaining the fourth Newton's law (the formula for gravitation) as a corollary of Kepler's laws. This small book is devoted to the scholars, who are interested in physics and mathematics. We also make a series of digressions, where explain some technique of the higher mathematics, which are used in the proofs.

Based on the kinetic energy theorem, as one of the fundamental theorems from the classical mechanics, throughout the first part of the article an attempt has been made to derive the mathematical model of a material point motion in the three-dimensional spatial subspace of the integral four-dimensional space-time continuum and in the field of action of an active force F. Accordingly, with a view to surmounting the singularity problem on the one hand, as well as the moving peri...

We explain in a very concise way the basic principles that lead from Galilean to General Relativity to make them understandable to students or general audience, even with little knowledge in physics and mathematics.

In this paper, we present a new heuristic derivation of the gravitational deflection of light around the Sun at the undergraduate level. Instead of solving the geodesic equation directly, we compute the correct deflection angle by focusing on the acceleration term of null geodesics. Using this heuristic deviation, we expect that undergraduate students who have not learned general relativity will be able to experience this computation, which is one of the most remarkable evide...

We have developed a method to study the effects of a perturbation to the motion of a test point--like object in a Schwarzschild spacetime. Such a method is the extension of the Lagrangian planetary equations of classical celestial mechanics into the framework of the full theory of general relativity. The method provides a natural approach to account for relativistic effects in the unperturbed problem in an exact way.

These lectures notes contain an introduction to General Relativity. They are addressed to a general mathematical audience with no specific background in physics. The goal is to motivate and explain Einstein's theory of gravity and discuss some of the fundamental examples.

The equations of the relativistic causal Newton gravity law for the planets of the solar system are studied in the approximation when the Sun rests at the coordinate origin and the planets do not interact between each other. The planet orbits of general relativity are also studied in the same approximation.
