Using $(27.12\pm0.14) \times 10^{8}$ $\psi(2S)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at BEPCII, we search for the decay $\eta_c(2S)\to p\bar{p}$ via the process $\psi(2S)\to \gamma\eta_c(2S)$, and only find a signal with a significance of $1.7\,\sigma$. The upper limit of the product branching fraction at the 90% confidence level is determined to be $\mathcal{B}(\psi(2S)\to \gamma\eta_c(2S))\times \mathcal{B}(\eta_c(2S)\to p\bar{p})<2.4\times 10^{-7}$. The branch...

The decays psi'->gamma pi^0, gamma eta and gamma eta' are studied using data collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII e^+e^- collider. Processes psi'->gamma pi^0 and psi'->gamma eta are observed for the first time with signal significances of 4.6 sigma and 4.3 sigma, respectively. The branching fractions are determined to be: B(psi'->gamma pi^0)=(1.58+-0.40+-0.13)x10^{-6}, B(psi'->gamma eta)=(1.38+-0.48+-0.09)x10^{-6}, and B(psi'->gamma eta')=(126+-3+-8) x 10^{-6}, wh...

Based on $(27.12\pm 0.14)\times 10^{8}$ $\psi(2S)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we search for the decay $\eta_c (2S) \rightarrow \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \eta_c$ with $\eta_c\rightarrow K_S^0 K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$ and $\eta_c\rightarrow K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{0}$. No significant signal is observed, and the upper limit on the product branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(\psi(2S)\rightarrow \gamma \eta_{c}(2S))\times\mathcal{B}$($\eta_c (2S) \rightarrow \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \eta_c$) is determin...

Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s} = 4.23, 4.26, 4.36,$ and $4.42$~\rm{GeV}, we measure the branching fractions of $\eta_c\to K^+K^-\pi^0$, $K^0_S K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$, $2(\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0)$, and $p \bar{p}$, via the process $e^+e^-\to\pi^+\pi^-h_c$, $h_c\to\gamma\eta_c$. The corresponding results are $(1.15\pm0.12\pm0.10)\%$, $(2.60\pm0.21\pm0.20)\%$, $(15.2\pm1.8\pm1.7)\%$, and $(0.120\pm0.026\pm0.015)\%$, respectively. He...

We present a precision study of the $\psip\to\pi^0 J/\psi$ and $\eta J/\psi$ decay modes. The measurements are obtained using $106\times10^6$ $\psi'$ events accumulated with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII $\ee$ collider operating at a center-of-mass energy corresponding to the $\psip$ mass. We obtain $\mathcal{B}(\psip\to\pi^0 J/\psi)=(1.26\pm0.02{\rm (stat.)}\pm0.03{\rm (syst.)})\times 10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}(\psip\to\eta J/\psi)=(33.75\pm0.17{\rm (stat.)}\pm0.86{\rm (s...

Using $(2.712\pm0.014)\times10^{9}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII, we find an evidence of the $\eta_{c}(2S)\to K^+ K^- \eta^{\prime}$ decay with a statistical significance of 3.1$\sigma$. Its decay branching fraction is measured to be $(12.24\pm4.60(\mathrm{stat.})\pm2.37(\mathrm{syst.})\pm4.68(\mathrm{extr.}))\times 10^{-4}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third uncertainty is fro...

Using a sample of $4.48\times10^{8}$ $\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we study the two-photon decays of the pseudoscalar mesons $\pi^0$, $\eta$, $\eta^\prime$, $\eta(1405)$, $\eta(1475)$, $\eta(1760)$, and $X(1835)$ in $J/\psi$ radiative decays using $\psi(3686)\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}J/\psi$ events. The $\pi^0$, $\eta$ and $\eta^\prime$ mesons are clearly observed in the two-photon mass spectra, and the branching fractions are determine...

Based on a data sample of $(27.08 \pm 0.14 ) \times 10^8~\psi(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the M1 transition $\psi(3686) \to \gamma \eta_{c}(2S)$ with $\eta_{c}(2S) \to K\bar{K}\pi$ is studied, where $K\bar{K}\pi$ is $K^{+} K^{-} \pi^{0}$ or $K_{S}^{0}K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$. The mass and width of the $\eta_{c}(2S)$ are measured to be $(3637.8 \pm 0.8 (\rm {stat}) \pm 0.2 (\rm {syst}))$ MeV/$c^{2}$ and $(10.5 \pm 1.7 (\rm {stat}) \pm 3.5 ...

By analyzing $(27.12 \pm 0.14)\times10^{8}$ $\psi(3686)$ events accumulated with the BESIII detector, the decay $\eta_{c}(2S) \to K^{+} K^{-} \eta$ is observed for the first time with a significance of $6.2\sigma$ after considering systematic uncertainties. The product of the branching fractions of $\psi(3686) \to \gamma\eta_{c}(2S)$ and $\eta_{c}(2S) \to K^{+} K^{-} \eta$ is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(\psi(3686) \to\gamma\eta_{c}(2S))\times \mathcal{B}(\eta_{c}(2S)\to K^{+}...

Using 58 million $J/\psi$ and 14 million $\psi(2S)$ events collected by the BESII detector at the BEPC, branching fractions or upper limits for the decays $J/\psi$ and $\psi(2S) \to \Lambda \bar{\Lambda}\pi^0$ and $\Lambda \bar{\Lambda}\eta$ are measured. For the isospin violating decays, the upper limits are determined to be ${\cal B}(J/\psi \to \Lambda \bar{\Lambda}\pi^0)<6.4\times 10^{-5}$ and ${\cal B}(\psi(2S) \to \Lambda \bar{\Lambda}\pi^0)<4.9\times 10^{-5}$ at the 90%...
