We reexamine the $\omega \to \pi^{0} \pi^{0} \gamma $ decay, adding the effect of $\omega-\rho$ mixing to the amplitude calculated with the aid of chiral perturbation theory and vector meson dominance. We predict the neutral decay to occur with a width of $\Gamma($\omega \to \pi^{0} \pi^{0} \gamma $) =(390\pm96) {\rm eV}$ and also analyze the effect of the $\omega-\rho$ mixing on the $\Gamma($\omega \to \pi^{0} \pi^{0} \gamma $)/ \Gamma($\omega \to \pi^{+} \pi^{-} \gamma $)$ ratio. Several remarks on the effect of $\omega-\rho$ mixing on certain radiative decays of vector mesons are presented.

In an attempt to explain the latest experimental result about the branching ratio of $\omega\to \pi^0\pi^0\gamma$ decay we reexamine the decay mechanism of this decay in a phenomenological framework in which the contributions of VMD, chiral loops, $\sigma$-meson intermediate state amplitudes and the effects of $\omega-\rho$ mixing are considered. We conclude that in order to obtain the experimental value of the branching ratio $B(\omega\to \pi^0\pi^0\gamma)$ $\sigma$-meson am...

The study on $\rho-\omega$ mixing is mainly focused on vector mesons decay with isospin I=1, namely $\rho(\omega)\to\pi^+\pi^-$ process. In this paper, we present the study of $\rho-\omega$ mixing in $\rho(\omega)\to\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ (I=0) using a flavor parameterization model for $J/\psi\to VP$ process. By fitting theoretical frame to PDG data, we obtain the SU(3)-breaking effect parameters $s_V=0.03\pm 0.12,\ s_P=0.17\pm 0.17$ and the $\rho-\omega$ mixing polarization operat...

Isospin violating mixing of \rho- and \omega-mesons is reconsidered in terms of propagators. Its influence on various pairs of (\rho^0,\omega)-decays to the same final states is demonstrated. Some of them, (\rho^0,\omega)\to\pi^+\pi^- and (\rho^0,\omega)\to\pi^0\gamma, have been earlier discussed in the literature, others (e.g., (\rho^0,\omega)\to\eta\gamma and (\rho^0,\omega)\to e^+e^-) are new in this context. Changes in partial widths for all the decay pairs are shown to b...

The strong and electromagnetic corrections to $\rho-\omega$ mixing are calculated using a SU(2) version of resonance chiral theory up to next-to-leading orders in $1/N_C$ expansion, respectively. Up to our accuracy, the effect of the momentum dependence of $\rho-\omega$ mixing is incorporated due to the inclusion of loop contributions. We analyze the impact of $\rho-\omega$ mixing on the pion vector form factor by performing numerical fit to the data extracted from $e^+e^-\ri...

We study the $\omega\to\pi\pi\gamma$ decays by adding to the amplitude calculated within the framework of chiral perturbation theory and vector meson dominance the amplitude of $\sigma$-meson intermediate state. We estimate the coupling constant $g_{\omega\sigma\gamma}$ utilizing the experimental value of the $\omega\to\pi^{0}\pi^{0}\gamma$ decay rate.

We evaluate radiative decays of $\rho$ and $\omega$ going to two neutral mesons, $\pi^{0} \pi^{0}$ and $\pi^{0} \eta$. We use the sequential vector decay mechanisms in addition to chiral loops and $\rho$-$\omega$ mixing. The chiral loops are obtained using elements of $U\chi PT$ successfully applied in the study of meson-meson interactions up to 1.2 GeV. The chiral loops are found very important in the case of the $\rho \to \pi^{0} \pi^{0} \gamma$ decay and small in the other...

We calculate the branching ratio of omega --> pi^+ pi^- gamma decay in a phenomenological framework in which the contributions of VMD, chiral loops, sigma-meson intermediate state amplitudes and the effects of omega-rho mixing are considered. We conclude that the sigma-meson intermediate state amplitude and omega-rho mixing make substantial contribution to the branching ratio.

Influence of the isospin-violating (\rho^0, \omega)-mixing is discussed for any pair of decays of \rho^0, \omega into the same final state. It is demonstrated, in analogy to the CP-violation in neutral kaon decays, that isospin violation can manifest itself in various forms: direct violation in amplitudes and/or violation due to mixing. In addition to the known decays (\rho^0, \omega)\to\pi^+\pi^- and (\rho^0, \omega)\to\pi^0\gamma, the pair of decays to e^+e^- and the whole ...

The $\phi \to \omega \pi^0$ decay is studied using the method of phenomenological chiral Lagrangians. It is shown that the weak hadronic current between $\omega$-and $\pi^0$ -mesons is equal to zero and this decay channel proceeds only due to the $\phi-\rho$ mixing diagram.

We study $\rho-\omega-$interference by analyzing $J/\psi\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0\pi^0$. PDG-2002 data on $J/\psi$ decays into $PP$ and $PV$ ($P$ denotes pseudoscalar mesons; $V$, vector mesons) are used to fit a generic model which describes the $J/\psi$ decays. From the fits, we obtain anomalously large branching ratio $Br(\rho^0\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0)\sim 10^{-3}-10^{-2}$. A theoretical analysis for it is also provided, and the prediction is in good agreement with the anomalously l...
