I review a number of the open questions about neutrino properties, critique recent hints of neutrino mass, and discuss one recently proposed neutrino mass matrix to illustrate the direction in which we may be headed. I also present one example of the implications of these new developments for astrophysics.

A brief sketch is made of the present observational status of neutrino physics, with emphasis on the hints that follow from solar and atmospheric neutrino observations, as well as cosmological data on the amplitude of primordial density fluctuations. I also briefly review the ways to account for the observed anomalies and some of their implications.

An elementary general overview of the neutrino physics and astrophysics is given. We start by a historical account of the development of our understanding of neutrinos and how they helped to unravel the structure of the Standard Model. We discuss why it is so important to establish if neutrinos are massive and we introduce the main scenarios to provide them a mass. The present bounds and the positive indications in favor of non-zero neutrino masses are discussed as well as th...

We update our recent didactic survey of neutrino physics, including new results from the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory and KamLAND experiments, and recent constraints from WMAP and other cosmological probes.

The basic concepts of neutrino physics are presented at a level appropriate for integration into elementary courses on quantum mechanics and/or modern physics.

We highlight recent developments in neutrino astrophysics. We discuss some of the connections with nuclear physics.

This talk is a brief overview of the present status of neutrino mass physics.

The present observational status of neutrino physics is sketched, with emphasis on the hints that follow from solar and atmospheric neutrino observations, as well as dark matter. I also briefly review the ways to account for the observed anomalies and some of their implications

Neutrino masses are clear evidence for physics beyond the standard model and much more remains to be understood about the neutrino sector. We highlight some of the outstanding questions and research opportunities in neutrino theory. We show that most of these questions are directly connected to the very rich experimental program currently being pursued (or at least under serious consideration) in the United States and worldwide. Finally, we also comment on the state of the th...

We review the highlights of Neutrino 2004 and recall the main lessons from neutrinos in recent years that had a great impact on particle physics and cosmology.
