We construct complex a-priori bounds for certain infinitely renormalizable Lorenz maps. As a corollary, we show that renormalization is a real-analytic operator on the corresponding space of Lorenz maps.

In this paper we study quasi-symmetric conjugations of $C^2$ weakly order-preserving circle maps with a flat interval. Under the assumption that the maps have the same rotation number of bounded type and that bounded geometry holds we construct a quasi-symmetric conjugation between their non-wandering sets. Further, this conjugation is extended to a quasi-symmetric circle homeomorphism. Our proof techniques hinge on real-dynamic methods allowing us to construct the conjugatio...

The control of postcritical sets of quadratic polynomials with a neutral fixed point is a main ingredient in the remarkable work of Buff and Ch\'eritat to construct quadratic Julia sets with positive area. Based on the Inou-Shishikura theory, they obtained the control for the case of rotation numbers of bounded high type. Later, Cheraghi developed several elaborate analytic techniques based on Inou-Shishikura's results and obtained the control for the case of rotation numbers...

We prove the a priori bounds for infinitely renormalizable quadratic polynomials for which we can find an infinite sequence of primitive renormalizations such that the ratios of the periods of successive renormalizations is bounded. This implies the local connectivity of the Mandelbrot set at the corresponding points.

We demonstrate the existence of a global attractor A with a Cantor set structure for the renormalization of critical circle mappings. The set A is invariant under a generalized renormalization transformation, whose action on A is conjugate to the two-sided shift.

We use hyperbolicity of golden-mean renormalization of dissipative H\'enon-like maps to prove that the boundaries of Siegel disks of sufficiently dissipative quadratic complex H\'enon maps with golden-mean rotation number are topological circles. Conditionally on an appropriate renormalization hyperbolicity property, we derive the same result for Siegel disks of H\'enon maps with all eventually periodic rotation numbers.

We apply set-valued numerical methods to compute an accurate enclosure of the rotation number. The described algorithm is supplemented with a method of proving the existence of periodic points, which is used to check the rationality of the rotation number. A few numerical experiments are presented to show that the implementation of interval methods produces a good enclosure of the rotation number of a circle map.

We prove that the characterization of the critical locus for complex H\'enon maps that are small perturbations of quadratic polynomials with disconnected Julia sets given by Firsova holds in a much larger HOV-like region from the complex horseshoe locus. The techniques of this paper are non-perturbative.

We consider order preserving $C^3$ circle maps with a flat piece, Fibonacci rotation number, critical exponents $(\ell_1, \ell_2)$ and negative shwarzian derivative. This paper treat the geometry characteristic of the non-wondering (cantor (fractal)) set from a map of our class. We prove that, for $(\ell_1, \ell_2)$ in $(1,2)^2$, the geometry of system is degenerate (double exponentially fast). As consequences, the renormalization diverges and the geometric (rigidity) class d...

For any polynomial map with a single critical point, we prove that its lower Lyapunov exponent at the critical value is negative if and only if the map has an attracting cycle. Similar statement holds for the exponential maps and some other complex dynamical systems. We prove further that for the unicritical polynomials with positive area Julia sets almost every point of the Julia set has zero Lyapunov exponent. Part of this statement generalizes as follows: every point with ...
