Two-pion correlation functions in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 130$ GeV have been measured by the STAR (Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC) detector. The source size extracted by fitting the correlations grows with event multiplicity and decreases with transverse momentum. Anomalously large sizes or emission durations, which have been suggested as signals of quark-gluon plasma formation and rehadronization, are not observed. The HBT parameters display a weak energy dependence over a broad range in $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$.

We present a systematic analysis of two-pion interferometry in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 200 GeV using the STAR detector at RHIC. We extract the HBT radii and study their multiplicity, transverse momentum, and azimuthal angle dependence. The Gaussianess of the correlation function is studied. Estimates of the geometrical and dynamical structure of the freeze-out source are extracted by fits with blast wave parameterizations. The expansion of the source and its rel...

The geometric substructure of the particle-emitting source has been characterized via two-particle interferometry by the STAR collaboration for all energies and colliding systems at RHIC. We present systematic studies of charged pion interferometry. The collective nature of the source is revealed through the $m_T$ dependence of HBT radii for all particle types. Preliminary results suggest a scaling in the pion HBT radii with overall system size, as central Au+Au collisions ar...

We present preliminary results from a two-pion intensity interferometry analysis from Au+Au collisions at sqrt{s_{NN}}=200 GeV measured in the STAR detector at RHIC. The dependence of the apparent pion source on multiplicity and transverse momentum are discussed and compared with preliminary results from d+Au and p+p collisions at the same beam energy.

We present a systematic analysis of two-pion interferometry in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 62.4 GeV and Cu+Cu collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 62.4 and 200 GeV using the STAR detector at RHIC. The multiplicity and transverse momentum dependences of the extracted correlation lengths (radii) are studied. The scaling with charged particle multiplicity of the apparent system volume at final interaction is studied for the RHIC energy domain. The multiplicity sca...

We present preliminary results on two new two-particle correlation analyses of Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 130 GeV$ performed by the STAR collaboration. Two-pion interferometry with respect to the reaction plane shows that the pion source can be described as an ellipse extended out of the reaction plane. Analysing the pion-kaon correlation functions, we show that, on average, pions and kaons are not emitted at the same position and/or time. Both measurements are inte...

We present a systematic analysis of two-pion interferometry for the central Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{S_{NN}}$ = 3, 5, 7, 11, 17, 27, 39, 62, 130 and 200 GeV/c with the help of a multiphase transport (AMPT) model. Emission source-size radius parameters $R_{long}$, $R_{out}$, $R_{side}$ and the chaotic parameter $\lambda$ are extracted and compared with the experimental data. Transverse momentum and azimuthal angle dependencies of the HBT radii are also discussed for central ...

Pion interferometry results from pp and dAu collisions at $\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV are presented using data from the STAR detector at RHIC. Radii from three-dimensional correlation functions are studied as a function of transverse mass. The HBT results from pp and dAu collisions are compared to pion HBT from AuAu reactions, also taken at STAR.

High-statistics $\pi^{-}\pi^{-}$ HBT data for non-central Au + Au collisions at 1.23$A$ GeV, measured with HADES at SIS18/GSI, are presented. The three-dimensional emission source is studied in dependence on pair transverse momentum and centrality. A tilt of the source relative to the beam axis is observed. The spatial extension and the tilt magnitude of the source decrease with transverse momentum. The spatial extension decreases and the tilt magnitude increases going from c...

We present preliminary results from a two-particle intensity interferometry analysis of charged pions and neutral kaons emitted from Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$= 130 and 200 GeV measured in the STAR detector at RHIC. The dependence of the apparent pion source on beam energy, multiplicity, transverse momentum and emission angle with respect to the reaction plane are discussed.

The modified model emission function S(x,p), with a uniform radial expansion mode and mass reduction, is used to study the single particle spectra and two particle correlation of pions. The calculated HBT radii and one particle spectra are compared with the data from $\sqrt(S_NN)$=130 GeV Au+Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). We see the main features of the data are reproduced, Ro/Rs decreases with increasing Kt and we have a kinetic freeze out tempe...
