We give a brief introduction to (upper) cluster algebras and their quantization using examples. Then we present several important families of bases for these algebras using topological models. We also discuss tropical properties of these bases and their relation to representation theory. This article is an extended version of the talk given at the 19th International Conference on Representations of Algebras (ICRA 2020).

Plabic graphs are intimately connected to the positroid stratification of the positive Grassmannian. The duals to these graphs are quivers, and it is possible to associate to them cluster algebras. For the top-cell graph of $Gr_{+}(k,n)$, this cluster algebra is the homogeneous coordinate ring of the corresponding positroid variety. We prove that the same statement holds for plabic graphs describing lower dimensional cells. In this way we obtain a map from the positroid strat...

We survey some recent constructions of cluster algebra structures on coordinate rings of unipotent subgroups and unipotent cells of Kac-Moody groups. We also review a quantized version of these results.

These are notes for a series of lectures presented at the ASIDE conference 2016. The definition of a cluster algebra is motivated through several examples, namely Markov triples, the Grassmannians $Gr_2(\mathbb{C})$, and the appearance of double Bruhat cells in the theory of total positivity. Once the definition of cluster algebras is introduced in several stages of increasing generality, proofs of fundamental results are sketched in the rank 2 case. From these foundations we...

This is an extended abstract of my talk at the Oberwolfach-Workshop "Representation Theory of Finite-Dimensional Algebras" (February 6 - 12, 2005). It gives self-contained and simplified definitions of quantum cluster algebras introduced and studied in a joint work with A.Berenstein (math.QA/0404446).

In this survey we discuss some combinatorial aspects of higher cluster categories.

We exhibit quantum cluster algebra structures on quantum Grassmannians $K_q[Gr(2,n)]$ and their quantum Schubert cells, as well as on $K_q[Gr(3,6)]$, $K_q[Gr(3,7)]$ and $K_q[Gr(3,8)]$. These cases are precisely those where the quantum cluster algebra is of finite type and the structures we describe quantize those found by Scott for the classical situation.

In this paper, we will present the author's interpretation and embellishment of five lectures on cluster theory given by Kiyoshi Igusa during the Spring semester of 2022 at Brandeis University. They are meant to be used as an introduction to cluster theory from a representation-theoretic point of view. It is assumed that the reader has some background in representations of quivers.

This is an introductory survey on cluster algebras and their (additive) categorification using derived categories of Ginzburg algebras. After a gentle introduction to cluster combinatorics, we review important examples of coordinate rings admitting a cluster algebra structure. We then present the general definition of a cluster algebra and describe the interplay between cluster variables, coefficients, c-vectors and g-vectors. We show how c-vectors appear in the study of quan...

There has been recent interest in novel Clifford geometric invariants of linear transformations. This motivates the investigation of such invariants for a certain type of geometric transformation of interest in the context of root systems, reflection groups, Lie groups and Lie algebras: the Coxeter transformations. We perform exhaustive calculations of all Coxeter transformations for $A_8$, $D_8$ and $E_8$ for a choice of basis of simple roots and compute their invariants, us...
