The behaviour of massive and massless test particles around asymptotically flat and spherically symmetric, charged black holes in the context of generalized dilaton-axion gravity in four dimensions is studied. All the possible motions are investigated by calculating and plotting the corresponding effective potential for the massless and massive particles as well. Further, the motion of massive (charged or uncharged) test particles in the gravitational field of charged black h...

We have studied the charged scalar perturbation around a dilaton black hole in 2 +1 dimensions. The wave equations of a massless charged scalar field is shown to be exactly solvable in terms of hypergeometric functions. The quasinormal frequencies are computed exactly. The relation between the quasinormal frequencies and the charge of the black hole, charge of the scalar and the temperature of the black hole are analyzed. The asymptotic form of the real part of the quasinorma...

We study the geodesic equations in the space-time of a Schwarzschild black hole pierced by an infinitely thin cosmic string and give the complete set of analytical solutions of these equations for massive and massless particles, respectively. The solutions of the geodesic equations can be classified according to the particle's energy and angular momentum, the ratio between the component of the angular momentum aligned with the axis of the string and the total angular momentum...

This paper is devoted to study the geodesic structure of regular Hayward black hole. The timelike and null geodesic have been studied explicitly for radial and non-radial motion. For timelike and null geodesic in radial motion there exists analytical solution, while for non-radial motion the effective potential has been plotted, which investigates the position and turning points of the particle. It has been found that massive particle moving along timelike geodesics path are ...

We present a study of the geodesic equations of a black hole space-time which is a solution of the three-dimensional NMG theory and is asymptotically Lifshitz with $z=3$ and $d=1$ as found in [Ayon-Beato E., Garbarz A., Giribet G. and Hassaine M., Phys. Rev. {\bf D} 80, 104029 (2009)]. By means of the corresponding effective potentials for massive particles and photons we find the allowed motions by the energy levels. Exact solutions for radial and non-radial geodesics are gi...

We consider charged rotating black holes in $D=2N+1$ dimensions, $D \ge 5$. While these black holes generically possess $N$ independent angular momenta, associated with $N$ distinct planes of rotation, we here focus on black holes with equal-magnitude angular momenta. The angular dependence can then be treated explicitly, and a system of 5 $D$-dependent ordinary differential equations is obtained. We solve these equations numerically for Einstein-Maxwell theory in D=5, 7 and ...

Here, we explore the dynamics of particle near the horizon of charged Mandal-Sengupta-Wadia (MSW) black hole in 2+1 dimensions. It results analysis of angular momentum and potential energy for null and time-like geodesics. We also appraise the high center-of-mass energy of coming particles from rest at infinity near the horizon of the charged MSW black hole in 2+1 dimension for the extremal case. Finally, we study the ISCO and MBCO radii for this type of black hole.

We study the geodesic equations in the space-time of neutral Brans-Dicke Dilaton black hole in three dimensions, BTZ black holes and the 2+1 black hole. We use the process of separation of the Hamilton-Jacobi equation to obtain the constants of motion. The whole analytical solution of the geodesic equations in the space-times of the intended black holes are shown completely. Moreover, the geodesic equations are solved in terms of Weierstrass elliptic functions. Furthermore, w...

This paper focuses on the motion of a test particle moving around the Reissner-Nordstrom black hole. It deals with circular motion and radial motion of the neutral massive test particles, and shortly handles circular motion of the charged massive test particles. Both neutral and charged particles are affected by black hole's charge, but it is due to the fact that charge of the black hole bends the spacetime more strongly. This procedure has nothing to do with electromagnetic ...

We examine the dynamics of particles around a rotating regular black hole. In particular we focus on the effects of the characteristic length parameter of the spinning black hole on the motion of the particles by solving the equation of orbital motion. We have found that there is a fourth constant of motion that determines the dynamics of orbits out the equatorial plane similar as in the Kerr black hole. Through detailed analyses of the corresponding effective potentials for ...
