We study single Higgs boson production in gamma gamma collisions proceeding via the hadronic content of the photon. These processes complement previous studies of pair and single Higgs production at e^+e^- colliders. For SM Higgs masses of current theoretical interest, the resolved photon contributions are non-negligible in precision cross section measurements. The charged Higgs cross sections are not competitive with the gamma gamma -> H^+ H^- process and at best might offer...

The production of the Higgs boson in photon-photon interactions with proton and nucleus beams at three planned or proposed future CERN colliders --- the high-luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), the high-energy LHC (HE-LHC), and the Future Circular Collider (FCC) --- is studied. The cross sections for the process AA$\xrightarrow{\gamma\gamma}$(A)H(A), with the ions A surviving the interaction and the Higgs scalar exclusively produced, are computed with MadGraph 5 modifi...

Higgs boson production in association with a high pT photon at the CERN Large Hadron Collider is analyzed, in the framework of the MSSM model, for the heavier neutral Higgs bosons. The request of an additional photon in the exclusive Higgs boson final state selects b-quark pairs among the possible initial partonic states, since gluon-gluon initial states are not allowed by C-parity conservation. Hence, the measurement of cross sections for neutral Higgs boson plus photon prod...

In this report I discuss physical problems for future Photon Colliders (PLC), which can be stated AFTER 10 years of work of LHC and few years of work of e^+e^- ILC. I discuss mainly the unfavorable case when these colliders will give us only Higgs boson(s) and perhaps some charged particles of unclear nature. I focus my attention for the case of PLC based on the second stage of ILC (about 1 TeV) or CLIC (1-3 TeV). It offers opportunity to study new series of fundamental physi...

The feasibility of measuring the Higgs-boson properties at the Photon Collider at TESLA has been studied in detail for masses between 200 and 350 GeV, using realistic luminosity spectra and detector simulation. We consider the Two Higgs Doublet Model (II) with SM-like Yukawa couplings for h, parametrized by only one parameter (tan(beta)). The combined measurement of the invariant-mass distributions in the ZZ and W+W- decay-channels is sensitive to both the two-photon width Ga...

As one category of vector boson fusion, photo-production is one important production mechanism at $e$-$p$ colliders. A future $e$-$p$ collider -- Large Hadron-electron Collider (LHeC) has been discussed as a "Higgs factory" candidate where the Higgs boson produced via weak boson fusion (WBF) at the LHeC plays an important role in precision measurement of Yukawa couplings. On the other hand, a measurement of photo-production of the Higgs boson, if possible, might be complement...

I review recent progress on the Higgs production in gamma gamma collisions at the photon mode of the Next Linear Collider (NLC). I mainly focus on two particular topics. The first topic is the Higgs-two photon vertex, which is sensitive to new physics, and can be considered a counter of the number of new heavy particles. I recall the results on QCD and electroweak two loop radiative corrections. The second topic is the heavy quark anti-quark pair production in gamma gamma col...

We study the production of charged scalar boson pairs via photon-induced $H^{-}H^{+}$ in $pp$ collisions at the forthcoming High Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC). The predictions are based on the Two-Higgs Doublet Model type-III, since it predicts large branching ratios of the channel decay $H^{\pm}\to \tau^{\pm}\nu_{\tau}$, which is the one we focus on. Motivated by the current excess of events in the process $\mathcal{BR}(t\to H^\pm b)\times \mathcal{BR}(H^\pm\to c...

We studied the feasibility of the measurement of Higgs pair creation at a Photon Linear Collider (PLC). From the sensitivity to the anomalous self-coupling of the Higgs boson, the optimum $\gamma \gamma$ collision energy was found to be around 270 GeV for a Higgs mass of 120 GeV/$c^2$. We found that large backgrounds such as $\gamma \gamma \rightarrow W^+W^-, ZZ,$ and $b\bar{b}b\bar{b}$, can be suppressed if correct assignment of tracks to parent partons is achieved and Higgs...

We studied a feasibility of measuring Higgs boson pair production in a Photon Linear Collider. The optimum energy of gamma gamma collision was estimated with a realistic luminosity distribution. We also discussed simulation study for detecting the signal against W boson pair backgrounds.
