We obtain bounds on the anomalous magnetic and electric dipole moments of the $t$-quark from a future high-energy and high-luminosity linear electron positron collider, such as the CLIC, with unpolarized and polarized electron beams which are a powerful tool to determine new physics. We consider the processes $\gamma e^- \to \bar t b\nu_e$ ($\gamma$ is the Compton backscattering photon) and $e^+e^- \to e^-\gamma^* e^+ \to \bar t b\nu_e e^+$ ($\gamma^*$ is the Weizsacker-Willi...

We investigate the possibilities of searching for non-standard CP violation in $pp\to t\bar{t}X$ at multiple TeV collision energies. A general kinematic analysis of the underlying partonic production processes $gg\to t\bar{t}$ and $q\bar{q}\to t\bar{t}$ in terms of their density matrices is given. We evaluate the CP-violating parts of these matrices in two-Higgs doublet extensions of the standard model (SM) and give results for CP asymmetries at the parton level. We show that...

Linear e+e- colliders provide a rich set of opportunities for top quark physics, crucial for the understanding of electroweak symmetry breaking and for the search for physics beyond the Standard Model. A ttbar threshold scan in e+e- annihilation enables a precise measurement in theoretically well-defined mass schemes with small experimental and theoretical systematic uncertainties. Above the production threshold, the efficient identification of top pair events combined with p...

We report our theoretical study on how to probe the anomalous CP-violating couplings of the top quark in the ttbar region at future e+e- linear colliders. We focus on the unique role of the ttbar threshold region.

Top quark is extremely sensitive to non-standard CP violating phases. General strategies for exposing different types of phases at the NLC are outlined. SUSY phase(s) cause PRA in $t\to Wb$. The transverse polarization of the $\tau$ in the reaction $t\to b\tau\nu$ is extremely sensitive to a phase from the charged Higgs sector. Phase(s) from the neutral Higgs sector cause appreciable dipole moment effects and lead to sizable asymmetries in $e^+e^-\to t\bar tH^0$ and $e^+e^-\t...

We discuss in detail top quark polarization in above-threshold (t \bar t)-production at a polarized linear e^+ e^- collider. We pay particular attention to the minimization and maximization of the polarization of the top quark by tuning the longitudinal polarization of the e^+ and e^- beams. The polarization of the top quark is calculated in full next-to-leading order QCD. We also discuss the beam polarization dependence of the longitudinal spin-spin correlations of the top a...

We study effects of heavy Higgs bosons on the top-pair production process at photon linear colliders. The interference patterns between the resonant Higgs-production amplitudes and the continuum QED amplitudes are examined. The patterns tell us not only the CP nature of the Higgs bosons but also the phase of the $\gamma\gamma$--Higgs vertex which gives new information about the Higgs couplings to new charged particles. We point out that it is necessary to use circularly polar...

An optimal-observable analysis of the angular and energy distributions of the leptons and bottom quarks in the process e+e- --> tt-bar --> l^{+-}/b(b-bar)... has been performed in order to measure the most general top-quark couplings to gauge bosons at polarized linear colliders. The optimal beam polarization for determination of each coupling has been found. A very sensitive test of CP violation in tt-bar production and decay has been proposed.

The energy spectra of the lepton(s) in eebar --> ttbar --> l^{+-}X/ l^+l^- X' at next linear colliders (NLC) are analyzed a model-independent way for arbitrary longitudinal beam polarizations as a general test of possible anomalous top-quark couplings.

Top quark production in the process $e^+e^- \to t\bar{t}$ at a future linear electron positron collider with polarised beams is a powerful tool to determine indirectly the scale of new physics. The presented study, based on a detailed simulation of the ILD detector concept, assumes a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=500\,$GeV and a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=500\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ equally shared between the incoming beam polarisations of $\mathcal{P}_{e^-}, \mathcal{P}_{e^+} =...
