In terms of an effective Lagrangian we investigate the possibilities of probing anomalous top quark couplings, $t \bar{t} H$, $\gamma t \bar{t}$, $Z t \bar{t}$ and $tWb$ at the future linear colliders. It is found that probing anomalous top quark couplings, $t \bar{t} H$, $\gamma t \bar{t}$, $Z t \bar{t}$ and $tWb$ at the future linear colliders. It is found that at a linear collider with a c.m.energy $\sqrt s \sim 0.5-1.5$ TeV and a high luminosity of 10-1000 fb$^{-1}$, $e^+...

The process of top-quark pair production at future high-energy $e^+ e^-$ linear colliders has been investigated as a possible test of physics beyond the Standard Model. Non-standard interactions have been assumed both for the production and for the subsequent decay of the top quarks. The energy spectrum of the single lepton $l^\pm$ and the energy correlation of $l^+$ and $l^-$ emerging from the process $e^+e^-\to t\bar{t}\to l^\pm X/l^+l^-X$ are calculated. The energy- spectr...

Single top quark cross section evaluations for the complete sets of tree-level diagrams in the $e^+ e^-$, $e^- e^-$, $\gamma e$ and $\gamma \gamma$ modes of the next linear collider with unpolarized and polarized beams are performed within the Standard Model and beyond. From comparison of all possibilities we conclude that the process $\gamma_+ e^-_L \to e^- t \bar b$ is extremely favoured due to large cross section, no $t \bar t$ background, high degrees of beam polarization...

In this talk, I review the T-odd correlations induced by CP violating anomalous top-quark couplings at both production and decay level in the process gg --> t t_bar --> (b mu+ nu_mu) (b_bar mu-nu_mu_bar). In addition I will also focus on experimental sensitivities corresponding to the anomalous couplings at the LHC.

We analyze the prospects of probing the $CP$-odd $i \tilde \kappa \bar t \gamma^5 t h$ interaction at the LHC and its projected upgrades, the high-luminosity and high-energy LHC, directly using associated on-shell Higgs boson and top quark or top quark pair production. To this end we first construct a $CP$-odd observable based on top quark polarization in $W b \to t h$ scattering with optimal linear sensitivity to $\tilde \kappa$. For the corresponding hadronic process $pp \t...

An effective anomalous CP-violating Z-gamma-gamma coupling can give rise to observable CP-odd effects in gamma gamma -> t bar{t}. We study certain asymmetries in the decay lepton distributions in gamma gamma -> t bar{t} arising from top decay in the presence of a CP-violating Z-gamma-gamma coupling as well as a top-quark electric dipole coupling. We find that a photon linear collider with geometric luminosity of 20 fb^{-1} can put limits of the order of 0.1 on the imaginary p...

We present a model-independent study of the effects of a neutral Higgs boson without definite CP-parity in the process $\gamma\gamma \to t\bar{t}$ around the mass pole of the Higgs boson. Near the resonance pole, the interference between the Higgs-exchange and the continuum amplitudes can be sizable if the photon beams are polarized and helicities of the top and anti-top quarks are measured. Study of these interference effects enables one to determine the CP property of the H...

We discuss direct and indirect probes of chirality-flipping couplings of the top quark to Higgs and gauge bosons, considering both CP-conserving and CP-violating observables, in the framework of the Standard Model effective field theory. In our analysis we include current and prospective constraints from collider physics, precision electroweak tests, flavor physics, and electric dipole moments (EDMs). We find that low-energy indirect probes are very competitive, even after ac...

We show how to determine the electric and weak dipole moments of the top quark simultaneously and independently from $e^+e^-\to t\bar t$ at $\sqrt{s}=500$ GeV NLC. To obtain the best accuracies with which the dipole moments can be measured, we apply the optimal observables to extract the CP violating effects and consider only purely hadronic, hadronic-leptonic final state events. Results with left- and right- handed longitudinal polarized as well as unpolarized electron beams...

In order to observe a signal of possible CP violation in top-quark couplings, we have studied energy correlation of the final leptons in $e^+e^-\to t\bar{t} \to \ell^+\ell^-X / \ell^\pm X$ at future linear colliders. Applying the recently-proposed optimal method, we have compared the statistical significances of CP-violation-parameter determination using double- and single-lepton distributions. We have found that the single-lepton-distribution analysis is more advantageous.
