In this paper, we continue our phenomenological studies of heavy-ion collisions using 3+1d anisotropic hydrodynamics (aHydro). In previous works, we compared quasiparticle aHydro (aHydroQP) with ALICE 2.76 TeV Pb-Pb and RHIC 200 GeV Au-Au collision results. At both energies, the agreement was quite good between aHydroQP and the experimental data for many observables. In this work, we present comparisons of the Hanbury Brown--Twiss (HBT) radii and their ratios determined using...

We present the preliminary results on direct photon interferometry measurements in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 62.4 and 200 GeV using the STAR (Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC) detector. Photons are reconstructed via $e^+/e^-$ conversions in STAR Time Projection Chamber(TPC) and energy deposited by photons in STAR Barrel Electromagnetic Calorimeter(BEMC). The two-photon correlations are measured using (1) both photons measured using BEMC; (2) one photon from convers...

We present high-statistic data on charged pion emission from Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 2.4 GeV (corresponding to $E_{beam}$ = 1.23 A GeV) in four centrality classes in the range 0 - 40$\%$ of the most central collisions. The data are analyzed as a function of transverse momentum, transverse mass, rapidity, and polar angle. Pion multiplicity per participating nucleon decreases moderately with increasing centrality. The polar angular distributions are found to ...

We present preliminary results on two new two-particle correlation analyses of Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 130 GeV$ performed by the STAR collaboration. Two-pion interferometry with respect to the reaction plane shows that the pion source can be described as an ellipse extended out of the reaction plane. Analysing the pion-kaon correlation functions, we show that, on average, pions and kaons are not emitted at the same position and/or time. Both measurements are inte...

Preliminary results on inclusive neutral pion production in d-Au collisions at sqrt(s_NN) = 200 GeV in the pseudo-rapidity range 0<eta<1 are presented. The measurement is performed using the STAR Barrel Electromagnetic calorimeter (BEMC). In this paper, the analysis of the first BEMC hadron measurement is described and the results are compared with earlier RHIC findings. The pi0 invariant differential cross sections show good agreement with next-to-leading order (NLO) perturb...

Au+Au, $\sqrt{s} = 200$ A GeV measurements at RHIC, obtained with the PHENIX, STAR, PHOBOS and BRAHMS detectors, have all indicated a suppression of production, relative to an appropriately normalized NN level. For central collisions and vanishing pseudo-rapidity these experiments indicate a considerable reduction, relative to that nominally expected from equivalent PP measurements, in charged and particle production, especially at mid- to large transverse momenta. In the PHE...

Measurements of transverse-momentum p_T spectra of neutral pions in Au+Au and d+Au collisions at sqrt{s_NN}=200 GeV and 62.4 GeV by the PHENIX experiment at RHIC in comparison to p+p reference spectra at the same sqrt{s_NN} are presented. In central Au+Au collisions at sqrt{s_NN}=200 GeV a factor 4-5 suppression for neutral pions and charged hadrons with p_T > 5 GeV/c is found relative to the p+p reference scaled by the nuclear overlap function < T_AB >. In contrast, such a s...

We report on preliminary results of pion, kaon, and (anti-) proton transverse momentum spectra (-0.5 < y < 0) in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=62.4$ GeV using the STAR detector at RHIC. The particle identification (PID) is achieved by a combination of the STAR TPC and the new TOF detectors, which allow a PID coverage in transverse momentum ($p_T$) up to 7 GeV/c for pions, 3 GeV/c for kaons, and 5 GeV/c for (anti-) protons.

Measurement of femtoscopic correlations in heavy-ion collisions can provide information about spatial and temporal parameters of the particle emission region at kinetic freeze-out. In this work we present the measurement of two-pion and two-kaon femtoscopic correlations in 200 GeV Au+Au collisions at RHIC. The collision centrality and transverse momentum dependence of the three-dimensional radii, $R_{out}$, $R_{side}$ and $R_{long}$ is discussed.

High-statistics $\pi^-\pi^-$ and $\pi^+\pi^+$ femtoscopy data are presented for Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}=2.4$ GeV, measured with HADES at SIS18/GSI. The experimental correlation functions allow the determination of the space-time extent of the corresponding emission sources via a comparison to models. The emission source, parametrized as three-dimensional Gaussian distribution, is studied in dependence on pair transverse momentum, azimuthal emission angle wit...
